Emerald Interiors is a commercial fit out and office refurbishment specialist based in Essex.
They operate in a highly competitive market, from big brand names to regional and local office refurbishment and partitions, shop fit-outs specialists.
With a new website being launched the Two Lizards team was brought on board to help improve their website ranking through Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). Our experience in SEO along side website development meant we had all the skills they needed. SEO is the process by which a website is made as attractive to Google, your potential and existing customers, as possible.
Our Solution
The team started by focusing on attracting the right type of visitors. We to use our experience and expertise look at the search term and SEO requirements from a number of angles.
As well as considering search terms suggested by Google, we discussed the clients’ views on the type of searches they thought their customers were using. We looked at what was working for Emerald Interiors competitors which included office/glass partitions, office refurbishment, fit outs and shop refurbishments. And we then analysed the geographical reach and potential reach of of their business, which in Emerald’s case was within a 75 mile radius of their offices.
Finally we made recommendations for building into their website a finite number of key words and search terms which we will then revisit and analyse for effectiveness in an on-going SEO retainer. We will continue to add content which will include project case studies, blogs and Social Media related content to keep Google interested in visiting the site on a regular basis. This improves the ranking of the website with the focus on getting the url on page one of Google and into the top 4 for the chosen key word strands organically.
