A specialist designer and manufacturer of bespoke, frameless enclosures (screens) for showers, baths, spas and wetrooms. Showerpower and its workshop are based in West Sussex, with trade and consumer clients throughout the UK.
To unify Showerpower’s products and services under a single brand (two brands had co-existed up to that point); to create a website capable of presenting a wealth of product detail while retaining designer good looks; to balance the demands of optimisation with an established copy style. And to attract a specific customer base eliminating non-specific enquiries coming in via the contact form.
We began by discussing Showerpower’s ‘wish list’ for their new brand and website and from this we created a brief, budget and schedule which prioritised and summarised the tasks. We started by updating the Showerpower brand that would appeal to both homeowners and trade clients (designers, high-end builders, architects and developers).
With the design and development of the website, we discussed and adjusted our ideas before developing template designs, writing fully optimised copy and building the site. Parallel to this we researched key words, making an adjustment to the content in the latter stages to ensure their inclusion where possible without compromising the Showerpower tone of voice.
The client is delighted with the new, single Showerpower brand and the website has quickly achieved its goals in terms of rankings for key search terms that are linked to certain geographic locations. Two Lizards is now working with Showerpower on an organic SEO strategy designed to widen its net for UK searches and grow its market share across the UK. We are also assisting the company with its in-house PR activity by building relationships with a range of consumer and trade titles.
